Sasha & Tristan

Sasha Flint

After attending a dance class with her mum at the age of 10 to do homework while her mum learned to dance. Sasha had no idea that she was to be completely swept off her feet by the culture, music  and dance of South America. More recently Sasha is known as one of Rio Rhythmics key teachers, having taught for them for the last 6yrs. Sasha has over 15yrs of training and dance experience in Samba no pe, Samba de Gafieira, Zouk and many more Latin styles.

Sasha believes that dance is about the music and how it makes you body want to move. The fact that South American dance can be done anywhere, at any age, with your mum, dad, brother, grandparents, boy friend, friends, or strangers, makes it so diverse and accessible that is can be a part of your life forever.

Tristan Lewin

Tristan fell in love with Brazilian and Latin dancing when he went to a social night at Rio Rhythmics in Brisbane. Dancing has since consumed his life. Tristan began performing and competing at congresses and competitions around Australia & has been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best dancers in the world. A passionate dancer and teacher, Tristan looks forward to sharing with you the knowledge that he has gained from his experience.
