Our Beliefs & Values
I believe that it is important that those wishing to participate as well as those wishing to teach know what our beliefs and values are. By knowing more about us, you become better able to align yourself and connect with what we are all about.
All of our wonderful teachers are interviewed and meet with in person to ensure that they are aligned with this belief and value system. It is important, as this allows for a much stronger message, team, and most importantly positive experience for everyone who participates.
WHAT IS OUR MESSAGE?
Our intention and message is to bring a healthy, conscious approach to dance a music. We do this through teaching our students both young and older to honour yourself, your body and to show the same respect to all others. This is done in a few ways, but my favourite is through encouraging men and women, boys and girls to get comfortabe in their own skin, accept and celebrate the way their body feels when they dance, so that when they do express themselves be it artisticaly or not, they are FREE!!!
By doing this we also liberate those who participate, watch and support us from the "sexualisation" of dance. We celebrate dancing for its art and expression, we celebrate those who are involved in learning and those who also perform. By doing this we stand to change the way in which everyone relates to dance and music for men, women, boys and girls.
WHAT DO YOU GET FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE?
Well you get a healthy body, healthy heart, great fun, fitness, loads of energy, meet and connect with like hearted people and new adventures all the time! Invite a little joy into your life on a weekly basis and see what incredible things will unfold in your life!!!

We Believe That The Following Statements When Lived Each Day, Embrace A Fulfilling, Love Filled Life!
Unconditional love: See and embrace the beauty within yourself, others, nature and the world. Regardless of what someone says, does, what situation comes or experience you find yourself in, you remain open hearted and compassionate. No judgement exists here, everyone has an inner wisdom and therefore has something to share. We are all both the student and the teacher.
Equality: Everything has a place and purpose in this world and in this life. We accept with open arms and open hearts that no race, religion, gender, sexual preferance, colour, or attitude gives any cause for separation. Everyone and everything are created equal and are important for us to survive and exist in this life. We are all connected, we are all beautiful, we are all powerful beings.
Balance: In this life balance is of the up most importance. Live life to the full, pay attention to the your intuition and know when it time to take actions or when it is time to be still and receive. Finding this balance of give and take brings us into flow and allows greater happiness and abundance to flow into our lives. Balance comes from an ability to trust yourself in all you do and are.
Forgiveness: The ability to forgive allows us to let go of what no longer serves us positively in this life, empowering us to move on and move forward. Forgiveness starts with self forgiveness which then extends out to others, before we can let go and forgive what has been and done we must first forgive ourselves for bringing those experiences, situations and people into our lives. Forgiveness is also the acceptance of our role in what was.
Peace: Is found when we are motivated and driven by our hearts desire. Too often is our inner peace and peace in general disrupted with that of the mind. The mind is needed for intelligent decsions yes, but too often do we allow our lack of trust in ourselves to be corrupted by negative thoughts giving ourselves excuses to be able to back out of what would have been a brilliant opportunity. Peace is a knowing, peace is contentment, peace is the physical embodiment of love and acceptance of self.
Happiness: I truly believe that happiness is a choice, we choose to hold onto past hurts, we choose to let those past hurts continue to rule us and create more pain. Happiness is all about intention and mind set, if you wish to be happy you will find the positive things that happened during the day as they are more important than the negative things that happened today. What you give power to will continue to grow. So what will you empower? Happiness or upset?
Abundance: Is a full life, a life of fullness and love. Abundance is not always money, abundance is the relationships you have, the home you keep, it is contentment, and it is the life you live. You do not need much to live an abundant life.
Acceptance: I order to get want you want, you must first know who you are, what you want and then take action. Knowing who you are means to accept everything that is you entirely and without judgement. By knowing who you are, you can then start to work out what it is that you want from this life. Acceptance of what is, means that you can forgive if forgiveness is needed and move forward.
Community: Or Common-unity is about people working together towards a common aim...everyone flourishes. We all deserve happiness, we all deserve prosperity and abundance. Together as a community we make achieving our goals easier as more hands make light work.
Respect: Starts with you, in order to be respected you must first respect yourself and operate from a place of honesty. To show respect is to harbour no judgement against anything or anyone who expresses their point of view, beliefs etc freely. To have a true sense of respect you must first accept yourself entirely.
Self-Responsibility: Self responsibility is part of maturation and lessens the likeliness of victim like behaviours around situations and experiences that anyone chooses to come into their lives. Our choices are ours and we need to own every part of those choices. Regardless of whether the outcome is good or bad the consequences are part of learning what needs to be learned in order to choose a better way of achieving that goal next time. No one can make you do anything, no one can make you feel anything. Some situations or people may make a convincing go of forcing you one way or the other, but ultimately you always have a choice. By being responsible for your choices and actions, you become more open to the opportunities around you.
